Following are the daily supplements that have proven to be very beneficial in achieving body fat loss and ultimate health. These supplements will help you have the nutrients that you need to achieve your fat loss goals with the Diet Plans and Training Programs.

STARBODIES™ Metabolism Power Multi Vitamin

From food alone, it is very difficult for you to get the proper amounts of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants needed to help your body run at its demanding levels.

In today’s world, with busy lifestyles, most often nutritious meals are skipped, and when you don’t take time to eat, your food choices aren’t always the healthiest. Because you don’t always consume a perfect diet plan, it is that much more important to include the STARBODIES™ Metabolism Power Multi in your daily diet. When your body is under stress, whether it’s stress from everyday life or the stress you put your body under during a workout, a stress hormone called cortisol is released. This hormone causes your muscles to breakdown to provide your body with amino acids for tissue repair and assist your immune system. This stress hormone, cortisol, also causes your body to store fat; this is a bodily survival mechanism. Glutamine blocks cortisol.

Also, when you are sleeping at night, your body is repairing and building itself from the stresses and work it has gone through during the daytime. You do not want your body to break down lean muscle tissue during the night. So, going 6-8 hours at night without nourishment for your muscles that you are trying to build is not a good thing. You need to take glutamine before bedtime to block any muscle-breakdown; you want to build lean muscle mass, not lose it while you sleep. (Remember; Muscle = Metabolism).

An example of the very important role that glutamine plays is as follows: Remember, while exercising, you are tearing down your muscles, and on your non-training days or at rest, you are re-building your muscles. When at rest, if your body detects a tear in a muscle, your body will attack that tear in that muscle (kind of like the immune system fighting off a cold), to break it back down (kind of like sloughing it off), to supply your body with more amino acids to make other repairs.

You do not want your body to waste any lean muscle tissue that you’re trying to build. Remember, glutamine blocks that hormone, cortisol, giving your body more time to repair that muscle instead of wasting it.

STARBODIES™ Psyllium Husk Fiber is not digested or metabolized by your body. The fiber binds with water and waste materials to pass through your intestines, to the colon, and then out of your body. Along the way, this helps to keep your digestive tract clean and eliminate toxic waste from remaining in your colon, which helps against colon cancer and many other diseases.

When STARBODIES™ Psyllium Fiber is combined with a simple carbohydrate food, the fiber helps to slow down the absorption rate of the sugar, giving your body more time to burn that sugar for energy, instead of storing the excess as body fat.

For example, simple carbohydrates have little or no fiber at all. When simple carbohydrates are consumed, your body breaks them down to sugar very easily. In turn, your body releases the hormone, insulin, to take up that sugar and store some as glycogen, and the excess as body fat. Green Tea is a
great antioxidant. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals. Free Radicals are formed from radiation from the sun, pollutants, and numerous things, even diet. They cause much damage to your body. Think of free radicals like a ping-pong ball bouncing sporadically in your body, doing damage, breaking down collagen everywhere it strikes. Over time this ping-pong ball is really doing some tearing down to your body. Antioxidants protect your body. Antioxidants would neutralize our pretend ping-pong ball so as not to do any more damage.

When I’m going outside for a day in the sun, I take an extra STARBODIES™ Metabolism Power Multi because it is full of antioxidants, and a pitcher of iced green tea.

CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid)
- 1000mg Capsules 1 to 3 times per day

CLA is a fatty acid that has shown to interfere with an enzyme called lipoprotein lipase. This lipoprotein lipase enzyme helps your body store fat into fat cells. Also, CLA has shown to increase lean muscle tissue in bodybuilders, which again, raises metabolism and burns more calories.

Most people won’t tell you this, but often when dieting and restricting simple carbohydrates, ketosis (fat burning), causes bad breath, but chlorophyll freshens breath.
